As i was talking with my friend one day, i realized my favorite x-men is patrick stewart (not prof x, but how amazing sir stew is portraying him) and it reminded me i wanted him as a figure pretty much since the first movie was announced. if you follow my gallery, you already know i sometimes might make a custom figure kinda once a year, so i dont have fodder to frankensteinize ...
the recipe is the story: i had (circa 2k) and old playmates picard [link] that i think is an amazing likeness, i took the head and sanded off the hair - of course that same figure didnt make it till today, but kudos to ebay i could find new one, i did need to fix some things (nothing anyone would even notice without comparing i believe) mostly on his nose and gave him a bit of an expression but the body was no good i wanted him to fit in the "movie scale" (7 inch, neca, select) i found a data from the 4horsemen, but those figures are gigantic, no way he could fit on a marvel legends wheelchair(but what nice hands!) hope was renewed when one day i found in a $2 box this [link] and the rest is a weekend of fun
seems those snl figures finally found some use huh? [link] wow, you still reading? congratulations, you just got to the part where i thank you for the appreciation - and patience
ps: i still can't take a good picture though...*facepalm
hands down BEST PROF X EVER in the history of EVER! quite possibly one of the best casting decisions fox made. i almost cried when they killed him in x3.
Great Prof. Picard! Always being a classy BAMF in his wheelchair (except when he gets ou of it, and goes back to it again 5 issues later) and being awesome.
And the toy is great as well! You're such a talented artist, man.
